The Donnie Brunson Band - 7:20 pm

Formed in the summer of 2009 the Donnie Brunson Band was anticipated by many before the first note was ever played. The idea came to Brunson after talking to Hal McCormack ( Guitarist Black Oak Arkansas ) about putting a band together to pick up the slack between the two artist shows. by chance Brunson was asked to appear at a show in Arkansas with Tony Spinner (guitarist TOTO and the Tony Spinner Band ) with that, a light bulb went off in Brunsons head, hey why not put these two guys together see what happens? the search went out for a drummer and first on the list was Pete mindello ( drummer Jimi Jamison ) Brunson had known of Pete for years and although they played the same venues and been at each others shows had never talked. everything is looking good right ? now for a bassist. there was never a question who the guy for that job was . Rome Mcminn ( Don Mcminn and night train / Curbside players ) is one of the best bass players I have ever heard says Brunson.

Looker - 5:00 pm

In mid 1983 vocalist David Kurtz (The Next, David Kurtz Band) and guitarist Ricky Triolo (Medieval Steel) joined White Kid Leather members David Wade, Billy Maharrey and Tony Maharrey and to form the original line up of Looker. The writing styles of Kurtz, Wade, Triolo and Maharrey made a great match combining, Rock, Pop and Folk with hard driving guitars, keyboards, big harmony's and a rock steady rhythm section made for a sound that was unforgettable and all LOOKERS.
Looker was different then most Memphis

Aquanet - 3:50 pm

August 15 is an important date in music history--a time to celebrate the life of the King of rock-n-roll. And this celebration served as the catalyst to bring the glam sounds of '80s American rock back to the streets of Memphis. It was at the Elvis candlelight vigil at Graceland in 2000, where the five stars of Aquanet first met. From five corners of the world they came, each carrying with them a passion for the music of their youth. What started as sharing shots of Night Train has evolved into a full production of the greatest sounds of the hair metal age. This is wild, flashy and full of the decadence that marked the '80s. It's the women, the clothes, and of course, the hair. But most of all, this is pure fun. This is AQUANET, and this is their story.

Down 2 Five -12:25 pm

Down2 Five was formed in the later part of 2006. Originally, members Joel Williams (Black Oak Arkansas, Ricky Nelson, Ruby Starr, Target, Larry Raspberry and the Highsteppers), Josh Haynes (Pulse-Tribute to Pink Floyd, Carey Haynes, Larry Raspberry and The Highsteppers) , Steve Spear (Horizon, The Gentrys, Larry Raspberry and the Highsteppers, Moloch, Tony Joe White, The Memphis Horns, Rufus Thomas) and Mike Russell (Pulse-Tribute to Pink Floyd, Reba Russell and the Portables, The Midnighters ,Bluebird, Companion, Leviathan) served as the back-up band for country artist Kitty Jerry, as well as Larry Raspberry and Jimi Jamison (formerly of Survivor). They decided to form their own band with lead singer, Ron Herron (Jerricho, Dakota, Carl Perkins). In the later part of 2009, Joel went on semi-retirement, and Down2 Five hired veteran drummer, Walter Polk (Lash Laroo, Jaguar, Roy Harper, Yankee Dime). There is no doubt that a lot of Down2 Five's influence is mostly of the "British Invasion" era. Closely Watch Trains - 11:20 am

CLOSELY WATCH TRAINS was formed in December of 2008 by Scott Perry and Johnny Curry in Desoto County, MS, just south of Memphis, TN. The two came together after working on a collaborative project to form a “new” country music band in light of the recent popularity and air play of such artists as Keith Urban, Rascall Flatts and other well known country contemporaries. The duo worked together acoustically; writing and arranging cover music from other popular country artists while trying to assemble their break out band.

Jeremy Allen joined Perry and Curry on vocals and guitar in the spring of 2009. Shortly after, Eddie Sorrell, Rex Bright and David Mason followed suite on keyboards, bass guitar and drums, rounding out the powerhouse group now known as CLOSELY WATCH TRAINS. This band has successfully set its course to become a hometown favorite of the Midsouth area creating an unmistakable pride with the deep roots of the country music community.

Since their debut at the Hernando, MS “A FAIR” in May of 2009, CLOSELY WATCH TRAINS has catapulted into the mainstream music arena and performed in various venues across the Midsouth. Bringing edgy guitar riffs and strong, melodic vocal harmonies to the table, this group takes country to another level that will have everyone moving in their seats. Whether they are tuning up to a cover song you know or jamming out to an original that can be found on their debut album (coming soon), CLOSELY WATCH TRAINS is making its mark on audiences everywhere and the music industry has spotted a shooting star.
